Working with Empathetic Warriors or Broken Crystals

WORKING WITH BROKEN CRYSTALS

I did a piece awhile ago on ‘Empathetic Warriors and Broken Crystals’ which I would like to share with all of you beautiful souls out there, that may have accidentally broken a crystal - here are my thoughts ….

I don’t know about you, but I was so excited when I first started collecting and learning about crystals. When I got my first Dow crystal it was amazing - a lovely 7cm long crystal in the perfect Dow formation - Dow crystals have three 7 sided termination faces, along with three opposing 3 sided termination faces - Anyway as I was so excited I was looking at it to see the rainbows inside and what do you know ... I dropped it - I was horrified - I had killed my Dow - it had split cleanly into two pieces. I couldn’t believe what I had done - so I promptly got another Dow. I waited patiently for it to arrive - unwrapped it carefully from the layers of bubble wrap, when it got caught on one and .... you guessed it .... dropped on the floor and broke into two pieces.

By this stage I was starting to think that perhaps Dow crystals just weren’t my thing! I was a Dow Breaker!!!! How awful. I was too worried to get another one - what would happen if I broke a third Dow crystal???? Probably be struck by lightening!!! So I sat there looking at the four pieces of my previously lovely Dow crystals. What to do? I decided to return these pieces back to the earth from whence they came - to return something so beautiful back to Gaia for her to heal seemed the perfect solution.

When returning broken pieces back to the earth there is no right or wrong rule here. There is no set amount of time for crystals to remain in the earth. It really is up to you - you decide whether it feels right to you to leave them there, and for how long - or do you leave them there indefinitely.

For me I left them there for two years.

One day I was walking along the beach and came across a beautiful piece of driftwood - I thought it would look lovely with a crystal on it - but didn’t have any bits to put on it ... or did I??? It was then, in that moment, that I remembered my broken Dow crystals. Walking back to the car I also found a lovely flat bottomed piece of pumice so took that home too.

I was in such a hurry to dig up the Dow pieces that it took several goes to remember where I had put them ... and several rather large holes later!!!! For me they felt refreshed - renewed and stronger than they had been. I decided to leave the bottom pieces of the Dow crystal with the earth, and only take the points. It was a lovely transition from perfect Dow crystal to what they became.... Empathetic Warrior Crystals.

You see, a crystal that has had trauma or been damaged by accident, becomes an Empathic Warrior Crystal. Empathic Warriors are recognised by damage to the crystal’s points and/or sides, or been broken in two. These crystals may have at one point had great power, but now contain damage.

Empathic Warrior crystals are some of the strongest crystals as far as energy. They have seen their own battles and come through them alive, bringing energy of strength and empathy for dealing with challenges and injury. These crystals are excellent teachers that true beauty comes from within. As empaths, they energise increased compassion for others. Empathic Warriors are also fabulous crystal healing tools for passing on energy healing without losing one’s sense of self.

Empathic crystals are considered a good working crystal for use on oneself or for human clients or animals experiencing change, transition, feelings of loss, fear, or grief. They are considered especially useful on those who have been abused at any time. Empathic crystals also help balance yin (female) and yang (male) energies. Though the power of an Empathic Warrior cannot be predicted. Often when a power or sense is damaged, another grows to compensate. One can only experiment to determine what power and use an Empathic Warrior may have.

Now all I had to do was create a way for my newly formed Empathetic Warrior Dow Crystals to stand .... the first one just called out for the wood. I found white tac and attached it to the bottom of the wood - this alllows me to change it if I feel I need to. I did the same with the smaller piece and attached it to the pumice - with the pumice I made a wee hole for it to sit securely inside!!! Perfect wee seat for a crystal.

I have learnt that just because a crystal breaks - it does not mean we cannot use that crystal, it simply means the crystal may change - it may become what it was always meant to be.

If you have any broken pieces of crystals, or you see an Empathetic Warrior Crystal in a shop - don’t walk on by thinking it’s not perfect, cause you might just find it is the best one you will ever have!

Crystal Blessings
